The change takes effect on Monday.

The following arenas will reduce their capacity to 100 spectators:

  • BMO Rink D.
  • Halifax Forum.
  • RBC C.
  • Saint Margaret Center – Fountain.
  • Zatzman Sportsplex.

Other rinks remaining at their current capacity

Eleven other rinks, including LeBrun Arena in Bedford, Sackville Sports Stadium and Spryfield Arena, will continue to limit spectator numbers to 50.

Other rinks fall below or above this number, such as Cole Harbor Place Scotia 2 with a 35 person limit or Cole Harbor Place Scotia 1 with 85.

Groups renting the facilities continue to be responsible for testing and tracking COVID-19 for all spectators. No food or drink is allowed and masks must be worn at all times.
