Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip in public argument during royal tour of Australia | Travel News | Trip

Queen Elizabeth is a picture of calm calm whenever she makes a public appearance. Large displays of emotion are rarely seen among members of the royal family, especially older family members. However, there was a time when Elizabeth let her feelings show in front of press photographers.

During the visit, an Australian film crew witnessed a moment when the Queen was indeed very angry with her husband.
They were outside the Royal Chalet in Victoria when the incident occurred.

The camera team saw Prince Philip exit through the front door.

Moments later, the Queen appeared, visibly angry and furious as she charged after her spouse.

She was seen yelling at Philip and even throwing him a tennis racket and tennis shoes.

The monarch continued to “drag” the Duke into the chalet several times, and the door closed.

After that the queen reappeared and said, “I’m sorry for this little interlude but, as you know, it happens in every marriage. Now what would you like me to do?

Fortunately for the Royal Family, the images never surfaced.

“The Royal Party attended the last day of the Centennial Test between Australia and England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground,” the author wrote.

Prince Philip has been an avid cricketer throughout his life.

In short, watching the close game in Melbourne was exactly what the Duke wanted to do – but officials had other ideas.

“The only tension was when Australian government officials tried to move the Duke of Edinburgh to his next engagement as the game reached an exciting climax,” said Hardman. “The Duke was considered apoplectic. ”
