PETA goes to great lengths to obtain Doc Antle in USDA’s sights … file a complaint and ask the department to investigate him Lil Pumprecent visit from. Animal rights organization sent letter to the US Department of Agriculture formally asking it to investigate the ‘Tiger King’ star for apparent animal welfare law violations while on safari at Myrtle Beach.
In the letter, obtained by TMZ … Debbie Metzler, associate director of captive animal law enforcement, cited Lil Pump’s trip there this week, and a video that shows him “having direct physical contact with a young tiger.” She says this violates the law requiring that “dangerous animals such as … tigers … or elephants must be under the direct control and supervision of a competent and experienced animal handler.” Then there’s Lil Pump’s encounter with the elephant, Bubbles. Metzler calls the stunt exceptionally dangerous because it could have scared the elephant and caused the elephant to lock up and potentially injure people. PETA wants USDA to hold Antle accountable for any violations it uncovers during its investigation.
