Boris Johnson has confirmed that Scottish workers will be able to get holiday pay in the future if Nicola Sturgeon decides on further lockdowns. The Prime Minister told Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross in the Commons that the 80 percent wage support would be available “in the future” if Scotland or other decentralized countries declare nationwide lockdowns.

The Prime Minister said: ‘If other parts of the UK decide to take action which requires the holiday scheme, of course they are at their disposal who must be right, this applies not only now but also in the future.

Johnson tried to give the Scottish Tory leader the glory by avoiding a clear answer to opposition MPs when they repeatedly raised the issue during a House of Commons statement on plans to lock down the ‘England.

Meanwhile, Rangers legend Brian Laudrup has slammed Jordan Jones and George Edmundson, telling them they are putting the entire season in jeopardy.

The Ibrox couple flouted coronavirus restrictions by attending a party on Sunday night and were suspended by the club.

Jones was also removed from the Northern Ireland squad after the violation, meaning he will miss the Euro 2020 play-off final against Slovakia.

Yesterday an additional 951 Scots tested positive overnight, but no new deaths were recorded.
