The Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants meet in an NFC East game on Sunday in NFL Week 10 from MetLife Stadium in the New Jersey Meadowlands.
Philadelphia enters the game 3-4-1 this season. The Eagles are 2-2 in their last four games with losses to the Steelers and Ravens alongside wins over the Giants and Cowboys. As for the Giants, they are 2-7 this year. After losing back-to-back games to the Eagles and Buccaneers, New York clinched a victory over Washington last weekend. Philadelphia hasn’t been good this season, but they’ve had back-to-back divisional wins and oddly enough, they’re alone atop the NFC East. Philly beat the Giants 22-21 on Oct. 22, then in their final game the Eagles beat the Cowboys 23-9 to help them take absolute control of the division. Are you wondering who the best experts have chosen? On the Giants’ side, the season has been all but lost so far, and the team’s only victories have come against division rival Washington. In between the two wins, there are close losses to the Eagles 22-21 and the Buccaneers 25-23. New York defeated Washington 23-20 in their game last weekend.
In the last win against Washington, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had 212 yards with a TD, and Wayne Gallman added 14 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown. Austin Mack was the main receiver with four catches for 72 yards.
The Eagles are 2-5 CEP in their last seven games in November and 1-5 CEP in their last six games as favorites. The Least is 6-0 in Philly’s last six games in November and the Least is 4-0 in their last four as a road favorite.
Meanwhile, the Giants are 5-0 ATS in their last five games as an underdog and 5-1 ATS in the last six games of the overall standings. New York is 5-1 ATS in the last six games against the NFC and 12-3-1 ATS against a losing team.
TO CHOOSE: I’m leaning Eagles here, but I’m probably staying on the sidelines in reality. This year’s NFC East clash is an estimate, and it’s almost like none of the four teams want to win the division. That said, Philadelphia has reasonable scoring abilities and the defense has been strong against average to poor teams. It will likely be another close and balanced game and should come down to a few late games.
