There have been several cases of COVID-19 in Whistler Blackcomb staff quarters, according to a note from Vancouver Coastal Health.The memo says there have been cases at staff residences on Glacier Way. The risk of exposure lasted from November 11 to November 24 at least.

In a statement, Whistler Blackcomb said he was working with Vancouver Coastal Health and providing support to affected employees.

Security protocols already in place in staff quarters include closed recreational common areas, mandatory face masks, and a no-visit policy.

Whistler Blackcomb opened on Thursday with security measures in place to curb the spread of COVID-19.
