More Toronto flights identified with confirmed COVID-19 cases


The Canadian government has identified more cases of the coronavirus on international and domestic flights to and from Toronto in recent days.According to the Government of Canada, on November 9, an Air Canada AC94 flight from Toronto to Bogotá confirmed a case of COVID-19 on board and identified affected lines 18 to 22.

The government has also identified two other domestic flights from Toronto with coronavirus cases.

On November 6, Air Canada flight AC418 from Toronto to Montreal confirmed a positive case on board and identified the affected lines 12 to 18.

Two days later, on November 8, Air Canada / Jazz flight AC8620 / QK8620 from Saskatoon to Toronto confirmed a case of coronavirus on board its flight and identified affected lines 13 to 18.

Since the end of October, more than 20 flights have had confirmed cases aboard several international and domestic trips to Toronto.

“If you have recently returned to Canada, you must quarantine yourself for 14 days from the date of your arrival in Canada. It’s mandatory whether or not you have symptoms, ”the government website reads.
