Mitrovic benched for Fulham as Richarlison returns for Everton

Aleksandar Mitrovic (£ 5.7million) had appeared to be another casualty of the fantasy Premier League bosses international break in Gameweek 9.Having been in service in Serbia following the calamitous situation of Fulham concerning Ademola Lookman (£ 5.0million) Back in Gameweek 8, Mitrovic finds himself on the bench for Everton’s visit on Sunday afternoon.

However, when asked by BBC Sport whether the decision to downgrade Mitrovic was related to fitness or tactics, Scott Parker replied:

Mostly tactical, really. Obviously, Aleks has returned from international duty.

The team I decided to go with today is a team that I think can hurt Everton, cause them problems.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid (£ 5.3million) appear set to lead the Fulham line past an attacking midfielder trio from Lookman, Tom Cairney (£ 5.3m) and Ivan Knight (5,3 M £)

Lookman missed a last minute penalty in GW8 as Fulham lost 1-0 to West Ham

Having missed the last three weeks of the match due to a suspension, Richarlison (£ 7.8million) goes to Everton’s starting lineup.

On the Brazilian striker’s absence coinciding with poor form for the Toffees, Ancelotti said in his pre-match press conference:

We did not lose because Richarlison was not there. He’s an attacker and the problem we had was that we weren’t defending ourselves properly.

He is really important for us, a top player and it’s important to have him.

He has everything, I think he can reach the highest level in football. He’s still young but really humble, I think he can be on top soon.

Everton’s manager could possibly opt for a roster change at Craven Cottage, with Alex Iwobi (£ 5.9m) included in Toffees XI with Richarlison, Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£ 7.8m) and James Rodriguez (£ 7.9 million).

The Italian also had some interesting words about Rodriguez’s position on Friday.

“His position is number 10. It doesn’t matter if he’s a little to the right, his best position is ahead. It doesn’t matter in the middle or on the right. Every game he’s played before. – Carlo Ancelotti

Ben Godfrey (£ 5.0million) replaces injured right-back Seamus Coleman (£ 4.9million), with a natural full-back Jonjoe Kenny (£ 4.3million) not in square for the day.

Fulham XI: Aréole; A Robinson, Adarabioyo, Andersen, Aina; Reed, Lemina; Lookman, Cairney Cavaleiro; De Cordova-Reid.

Everton XI: Pickford; Digne, Keane, Mina, Godfrey; Iwobi, Allan, Doucouré; Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin, Rodriguez.
