Meghan King has revealed she tested positive for COVID-19, seven months after her ex-husband Jim Edmonds contracted the virus.

The Real Housewives Of Orange County alum, who shares three young children with the former Major League Baseball star, made her diagnosis public on her Instagram Story on Sunday, November 15.

“I tested positive for Covid. I was safe while traveling but had a trade on Tuesday where I didn’t protect myself and that’s when I must have been infected, ”the reality TV star wrote, 36 years old, before referring to the current security measures she was taking.

“I’ve been safe with my distances and my masks since Tuesday, including when I went to dinner solo and stayed aloof and wore a mask at Hayes football. “

King went on to explain in detail how she and her family plan to keep their children – her daughter Aspen, 3, and their twins Hart and Hayes, 2 – safe in the future.

“My children have been with their father but Hayes will be quarantined due to a brief (1 hour) proximity to me,” King added.

“I have contacted everyone and will be isolating for a minimum of 10 days as directed by the CDC. My children will have to stay with my parents because they cannot stay with me while I am sick.

King confessed to her million fans and subscribers that she “feels bad,” but also pointed out that she is fine.

“I went for a test mainly due to extreme lethargy, but I just knew I was positive,” she explained of how she was feeling right before getting her results back.

King initially thought she might just have a cold, but eventually started to think it might be the coronavirus when symptoms of extreme fatigue began to show.

“I have been under enormous amounts of stress recently and knew my immune system was weak for it. So despite having been directly exposed several times, this is the moment that attracted me, ”she said.

It turns out that King shared a photo of herself with her boyfriend Hayes, which was taken during her soccer game on Saturday, just before she knew she had COVID-19.

“The millisecond, I thought I might have something other than a cold, I went and got tested. I would NEVER go out in public believing even the slightest I might have Covid, ”she said.

“But even when I thought I was in good health, I am still social distanced[d] and wore masks in public (unless I was with my bubble). I believe I caught it early on before the normal symptoms developed. I don’t even have a fever.
