Agent Eric Bailly leaves a clue to the future
Eric Bailly’s representative admits his situation “will have to be assessed” if things don’t improve for him at Manchester United.
The Ivorian defender got off to a good start to the season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but fell out of favor after his horror show in the 6-1 loss to Tottenham.
Bailly has not played for United since the October 4 defeat after suffering an injury which should keep him sidelined until the end of the international break at the earliest.
Reports suggest Bailly, 26, had an offer to join AC Milan at the summer market and representative Graziano Battistini said Calciomercato.it any “logical” approach could be considered.
“The boy is in an important context like United, before evaluating an exit there must be absolutely valid situations.
“The Milanese idea may have a logic, but we have to assess many implications, today we are not talking about anything.
“Your experience with the Red Devils depends, as always, on luck, the people you meet, the opportunities.
“If he has the right chances, for me he can be an important player in solving some problems for the team. If all of this does not happen, it is clear that the situation will need to be assessed, but now it is too early to say certain things.
“My Spanish partners who run him are cautious in every way, but the boy is very focused on Manchester United.”
