A 62-year-old man was discovered on Sunday desperately clinging to the hull of his capsized boat in waters off the coast of Florida – about 24 hours after being reported lost at sea, officials said.
The crew aboard the container ship Angeles spotted Stuart Bee around 11 a.m., about 86 miles off Cape Canaveral, holding his 32-foot vessel, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
The agency had been looking for signs of the boater since he was reported missing on Saturday morning.

Bee had left Cape Marina on Friday, but the person who reported his disappearance was concerned that he had not returned the next day and usually did not stay at sea overnight.
Photos released by the Coast Guard show Bee swimming away from her sinking ship and toward an orange lifebuoy. Another image showed the drenched boater climbing aboard the container ship.
His condition was not immediately known.
