Molly-Mae Hague revealed that the mole on her leg “is cancerous” in a moving YouTube video.

The Love Island star has shared updates after removing the mark on her left leg and previously said the test results she had received were “not what she expected”.

Speaking to fans about her health issues, the 21-year-old shared the moment a doctor informed her the mole was “malignant” while she was in Venice.

In a video posted to subscribers, she shared her anger to learn initially that the doctors had nothing wrong.

“I had the mole removed, the removal went well,” she said. “I got the call today and he told me it was malignant melanoma, which is basically skin cancer, which is obviously petrifying, shocking and frightening.

“I don’t even know what to think or say really.

“I had a feeling though and can’t believe other doctors told me everything was okay. I am so upset and angry. I briefly asked this doctor, as I was leaving the doctors, to check this out, and I walked out with skin cancer in my leg.

“If I hadn’t asked, I would still have had this mole on my leg now, and I wouldn’t be wiser, and it could spread through my body.” You never know.

She continued, “The doctor said it was really good that we caught it early.

‘[The doctor] just said I’m going to have another operation, which is like… I don’t even know what to say. I can’t even believe it.

“I’ve already shed tears. I have loved crying over the phone to every member of the family before.

“I’m just going to stay really strong because I know my mom and dad are just going to panic. If I panic, they will panic. As long as I’m fine I’ll be fine, so I just have to stay strong.

Molly-Mae was due to have another leg surgery this week, but in the last episode of her vlog, she said her surgeon stopped the operation.

Giving an update, she informed fans that medics were unsure if the mole contained cancer cells and had sent it for examination in America.

“Basically, he doesn’t want to do any more surgery,” the influencer explained. “Because someone said he didn’t think it was smart, which is obviously great news.

“But not very good news either, because now I’m like, is that smart, isn’t that smart?”

‘I have no idea what’s going on. I’ve been preparing for this surgery for two weeks now, and now it’s like, “Oh, it’s not okay. So I’m really, really confused.

The star is patiently awaiting an update from health experts on whether she will need more surgery in the future.

She ended the video by begging other fans to get checked out if they have anything worrying them, adding, “Hope this has taught you that no one is safe.

“Don’t ever think this will be someone else’s story because I feel like I did. You know, when you see things on Instagram or in the news, and you think, “This is someone else’s story, that could never happen to me.”

“Guess what, this happened to me.
