Liverpool fans hijack Jack Grealish’s 2012 Man City tweet


Jack Grealish has finally arrived on the international stage, after Gareth Southgate gave him a long-awaited first competitive start to England.The Aston Villa skipper has been one of the fittest players in the Premier League, scoring four goals and six assists in the opening seven matches.

This led to a clamor for Southgate to put the 25-year-old in the starting lineup and against Belgium he forced.

Grealish played 90 minutes at Leuven and despite England losing 2-0 he was the visitors’ flagship player.

Liverpool lost that game 3-0 but their situation has now turned under Jurgen Klopp and some supporters believe the German should do everything to sign the new England star.

“Yes boy, in 2021 join the mighty Klopp Reds,” one fan said, while another replied, “So he’s made his choice, draw it over, let’s sign it”.

A third messaged the club saying, “Bring him please”.

“Take him home,” said another, while a fifth posted: “Welcome to the best team in the world”.
