The Lakers and Thunder have agreed in principle to a trade that would send guard Dennis Schroder to Los Angeles and the 28th pick in the upcoming NBA Draft in Oklahoma City, according to Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Lakers guard Danny Green is also being discussed in connection with Schroder’s potential return.

The deal could be done as early as tomorrow, with the NBA advising teams that the league’s trade moratorium will end at noon ET on Monday.

Schroder, 27, could replace Rajon Rondo, who has a player option worth $ 2.69 million, if the veteran guard decides to go for free agency.

Schroder, who can play two guards, had 18.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists on 46.9% shots from the field and 38.5 of three with the Thunder last season. .
