The announcement came just hours after Jesy sparked concern in a promotional clip for the band’s new album Confetti.

Little Mix fans shared their concerns about the star after believing the star looked ‘over’ in a promotional clip for the band’s new album Confetti

The clip – which has since been deleted – showed her lethargic and bored as she stood next to bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirwall.

Amid snowballing issues, the promotional video was removed from the Anghami music platform’s official Twitter page on Friday.

Fans became concerned after noticing that Jesy didn’t look as excited about the album’s release as her bandmates.

She had appeared in The Search’s semi-final on Friday night, which was delayed from last Saturday thanks to the late announcement of Boris Johnson’s lockdown.

She performed a mix of Little Mix hits with her band mates in the studio at the show’s opening, including the 2020 single Holiday and their 2016 hit Touch.

Jesy was scheduled to host and perform at the EMAs tomorrow night, as Little Mix is up for four prestigious awards.

The sad news comes just 24 hours after the band’s sixth studio album, Confetti, was released – and some fans have speculated that Jesy’s grueling workload may have contributed to his illness.

One tweeted that she looked “exhausted” in the deleted clip, while others said she looked “so done” after filming more than 20 videos.

Jesy has been open about her battle with mental health issues, including anxiety and suicidal thoughts

It comes just weeks after Jesy burst into tears during the band’s live radio performance – their first since the first lockout was lifted.

Jesy later told fans that she had suffered a panic attack and was comforted by Jade as she shook with fear.

“So my nerves got the better of me today,” she wrote.

“I had a panic attack right before we were about to sing this for today’s show and like a pro @perrieedwards for me stepped in at the last minute and broke it.

“That’s what we originally did during rehearsals. ”

Radio 1 presenter and Strictly Come Dancing star Clara Amfo went on to praise the group on their “brotherhood” as they came together to support Jesy.

Jesy was unable to perform on a recent show live on Radio 1

An emotional Clara told listeners, “I just want to say, big at Little Mix. I think we can all agree that Little Mix needs to be protected at all costs.

“Yesterday you might have noticed that the gap between listening to the last single and the cover was a bit longer than usual, and Jesy was very open and very honest about why. ”

Clara went on to explain what had happened and how the girls came together and showed complete unity.

“She, in her own words, said, ‘Look at the rehearsals, my nerves got the better of me today, so I had a panic attack right before we were about to sing for the Live Lounge. . And like a pro, Perrie Edwards stepped in for my part at the last minute, and she broke it. This is what we originally did in rehearsal.

“I just want to point out, and what I really think they need to be strengthened for is that these four women are as thick as thieves,” she continued.

Jesy’s panic attack left her in tears during radio concert

“What I saw yesterday was a great example of real brotherhood and they were just showing why they are such a great group. ”

“They hit it off really well and changed the arrangement in a few minutes, and they sang beautifully.

“I really respect Jesy for being transparent about what she’s going through, because as music fans and as people who consume pop culture, I think we still have that element of thinking that people’s lives are perfect just because they are really famous or could make a lot of money and be famous.

“I think we can mistakenly assume that everything is fine all the time, and sometimes it isn’t. So thanks to Jesy for being honest, and thanks to them as a unit for being successful yesterday. ”

The Little Mix rep told Mirror Online: “The Confetti promotional videos were filmed months ago and are completely independent. [to Jesy’s illness].  »
