‘Who knows?’ I’m a celebrity Get me out of here! Star Giovanna Fletcher, 35, revealed she hopes Kate Middleton will watch her in the castle

When asked if she hopes Kate and William will watch her in the castle, Giovanna said: “They love the outdoors, they love adventure but who knows?

“When the rumors started going around that I was going I started getting messages… I think especially in this isolated time you start to think about things and it’s a unique opportunity on a show that I have always loved.

“I just want to come in and have a good time, it’s going to be hard, it’s going to be emotional. But eventually, by December, we’ll be back home to put down our Christmas tree, so my goal is to enjoy every second.

Giovanna added that she felt ready to take on the daily challenges of castle life, including the infamous ‘dunny’, which this year was traded for an outhouse in keeping with the castle’s new setting.

She said: “Especially this year at a time when no one has really been able to mix with everyone, so I think we’re going to appreciate being able to do that.

“In terms of life at the camp, I think everything will be fine, I’ve camped, I’ve done things like this before, so I don’t feel like that, we’re going to have hammocks so that will be fine.

“I’ll be interested to see what kind of role I play in the camp. I was told to use the bathroom on the first day and not the fourth day because on the fourth day the rice and beans took their toll.

The presenter said she asked fellow bandmates Tom Dougie Poynter and Matt Willis for advice on how to approach the show as they were both show champions but had mixed results.

She told MailOnline: “Dougie didn’t really give me any advice, but Matt was really excited AND HIS advice was to come in and be yourself and have the best time of your life!

“You can’t guess what’s going to happen and react to things, so you just have to go in and it’s really hard and it’s part of the experience. The general advice is therefore to come in and have fun.
