Old I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! stars who were supposed to appear on the show were sent home, it was said.

A series of previous winners and fan favorites had gone into isolation for two weeks so they could appear at Gwrych Castle in Wales, in a surprise 20th anniversary appearance.

The show’s bosses have reportedly asked Vicky Pattison, Charlie Brooks, Joe Swash and Joey Essex to get involved – but they are believed to have been sent home.

EastEnders actress Charlie – who won the show in 2012 – was spotted leaving her temporary accommodation with some of her bags.

Towie’s Joey was also seen walking out, clutching hangers full of his clothes.

According to the Sun, it is not known why they left.

“They were prepared in isolation to make sure there was no risk of them bringing coronavirus onto set and infecting other celebrities or the crew and causing chaos,” a source told the publication. .

“It’s the same procedure that the 12 campmates have already undergone.

“But we don’t know why Joe, Vicky, Charlie and Joey didn’t make it to the final stage and walked through the castle gates to join the other celebrities. ”

It will have been a different experience for all of the camp veterans, who all took part in the show as it took place in the Australian jungle.
