Emergency services are present at Damson Parkway, next to the huge factory operated by the Midlands auto giant.
Forensic teams are also investigating, a brief statement from West Midlands Police confirmed today on Friday (November 6th).
West Midlands Police said the remains were discovered earlier this week and “further searches” were underway.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: ‘We are investigating the discovery of human remains on land off Damson Parkway in Solihull on Wednesday November 4th.
“The area has been cordoned off for further research. ”
The spokesperson continued: “The bones will be subjected to forensic and archaeological analysis. ”
JLR operates several sites in the region, including factories in Castle Bromwich and Wolverhampton. Nationally, it also operates a factory in Halewood, Merseyside.
