Joe Biden won the 2020 election. Mr. Trump challenged those results.

Mr. Giuliani has repeatedly alleged that there was massive voter fraud that led to the loss of Mr. Trump. He did not provide sufficient evidence to substantiate his claims.

“I think we may have won Virginia, but that’s another battle,” Giuliani said.

The comments were made at a meeting of Republican lawmakers in Gettysburg, Pa. On Wednesday.

Mr. Biden defeated Mr. Trump in Virginia by 451,138 votes.

Mr. Giuliani has repeatedly disseminated false information regarding the election results.

During the meeting with Republican lawmakers, Mr Giuliani claimed that “8,000 dead” voted in the Pennsylvania election – another claim without evidence.

Even conservative websites have exposed Mr. Giuliani’s lies and disinformation.

After claiming there had been a ‘flyby’ in Detroit – essentially claiming that more voters voted than registered voters – the conservative Power Line website pointed out that Mr Giuliani was using data from Minnesota and not from Michigan.

The site wrote a blog on the faux pas titled “Do Trump’s Lawyers Know What They’re Doing?” »Question the competence of the president’s legal team.

The data Mr. Giuliani cites actually came from counties won by Trump in Minnesota.

After further investigation, it was found that even the correction of good condition. Mr. Giuliani was wrong on the facts. Minnesota has same-day voter registration and very high turnout. Aaron Blake from Washington Post suggested the numbers were likely based on “estimated voters” data released by the Minnesota secretary of state in the days following the election.

Mr Giuliani attempted to link the alleged aberration to the Dominion’s voting machines – a reference to a baseless and debunked Conservative conspiracy theory that claims the voting machines changed votes for Mr Trump to Mr Biden – but was again incorrect. Minnesota does not use Dominion machines. The state uses paper ballots.

Despite his claims being completely debunked, Mr. Giuliani continued to repeat the false information.

Mr. Giuliani has been a vocal and bizarre part of Mr. Trump’s election crusade.

Earlier this month, Mr. Giuliani hosted an odd press conference at a landscaping company called “Four Seasons”, possibly due to a booking error.

A week ago, Mr Giuliani held another press conference in which he continued to complain about the allegations of electoral fraud as a dark liquid – likely his hair dye – dripped down the sides of his head , adding to the image of Mr. Trump’s legal challenges as disorganized and messy. .

Despite Mr. Giuliani’s missteps, Mr. Trump still seems to trust him to be the face of his electoral challenge.

Mr Trump reinforced Mr Giuliani’s appearance on the ultra-conservative One America News Network on Wednesday, calling on his Twitter followers to log in to see the lawyer.
