Fans call on Marvel to ‘save Daredevil’ as rights revert to Netflix
In 2018, Netflix canceled Daredevil after a three-season race. At the time, it was widely believed that the length of the season, production costs, and the upcoming launch of Disney + played a role in this decision. Under the terms of the Netflix agreement, the rights of Daredevil and its associated characters remained in limbo for a period of two years after the cancellation decision. However, this deadline has now passed. As a result, the hashtag #SaveDaredevil is back in fashion on social media. Fans are asking Marvel and Disney to revive the series with the original cast. And at least one cast member, Vincent D’Onofrio, lent his support.

D’Onofrio portrayed Wilson Fisk / Kingpin in the series, which starred Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil. Deborah Ann Woll also starred in the series as Karen Page, alongside Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson. Cox, Woll, and Henson have all previously expressed a desire to continue the Daredevil story. Regardless, Marvel Studios has remained largely silent on its plans.
A few months ago, Cox dismissed the rumor that he would appear as Peter Parker’s lawyer in the upcoming Spider Man movie. This may not happen, but it is no longer impossible
