As Zack Snyder’s Justice League director cut draws closer, questions about how Snyder’s different take on the film will be rampant. Snyder recently addressed the issue of having to shoot a Flash scene with Ezra Miller while the actor was on the London set for the third installment of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Snyder was a guest on Grace Randolph’s Beyond the trailer YouTube series and explained how the crew of Fantastic Beasts, using Zoom, arranged their scenery so that he could take a small photo of the Flash actor. The director helped edit the scene as much as possible, sending them these drawings, [and] I was like, ‘Okay, that’s what he has to do.’ ”

The director said he had monitors to see the cameras, the setting and where his own face was, as he put it, “on a stand… with an iPad”. And while the director joked about how he could have practically directed Miller, describing, “Is there a way [tablet] could be lit like a rc car so i could drive it for a bit? ”

Snyder left the original production of Justice League due to a family tragedy and was replaced by Joss Whedon, whose covers and alleged behind-the-scenes behavior made the film’s theatrical release somewhat notorious.
