EasyJet is further reducing its flight schedule after the introduction of new lockdowns in the UK and mainland Europe, saying it will only run a maximum of 20% of flights scheduled for the rest of the year. The airline said it was curtailing its activities days after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced new Covid-19 restrictions banning residents of England from vacationing abroad or in the UK until December 2. EasyJet said similar lockdown measures in Germany and France were also affecting flight plans.
