Dwayne Johnson has revealed a brand new set photo from his upcoming Netflix action comedy film Red Notice, featuring his character working hard to keep an invaluable item.

The actor shared a new take on the film, which also stars Dead Poolde Ryan Reynolds et Wonder Woman Star Gal Gadot, on Instagram, as he posted a photo of himself dressed in black and standing in an art gallery, watching over a very large shiny golden egg that rests on a corded plinth.

“The FBI profiler. The world’s most wanted art thief. And the biggest con artist the world has ever seen. Excited to see this movie in 2021 – only on @netflix. “

It’s safe to say that we probably wouldn’t try to steal a precious item that was heavily guarded by The Rock himself, but we do have a feeling someone else in the movie might have a different opinion.

Exact plot details are scarce, but what we do know Red Notice is that it sees the crime prevention organization Interpol issuing a global alert – known as the Red Notice – to track down and capture the world’s most wanted art thief.

Johnson’s character is an agent assigned to guard a valuable art that the thief can have their eye on in an attempt to capture them, while a talented con artist is also involved in the plan.

Red Notice filmed in October, returning from a forced filming hiatus that began in March due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

After filming was finished, the film’s stars praised the cast and crew who had spent months in isolation to complete work on the film, with Reynolds posting an Instagram tribute to everyone involved.

“My hat is OFF to this team. I cannot stress enough their courage. Over 300 souls living in a sequestered bubble to make it a reality. They went to work every day under the most intense circumstances. This sacrifice is not only theirs. , but it also belongs to their family, friends and relatives who have not seen them for months, ”he wrote.

Red Notice will be released on Netflix in 2021.
