I understand why points with Davidson are tempting as this is an experienced group with guys like Grady and Brajkovic in the fold and Davidson is more often than not an underrated team. However, the Wildcats let High Point hang out for far too long in this game and while Texas haven’t played a tough opponent in UTRGV either, it’s still a talented Longhorns team that can shoot the ball with confidence. and with Shaka Smart on the bench, you know they’ll be pretty good defensively as well. If this game was up to Davidson I’d be all over the Wildcats and points, but on neutral ground I’m giving Texas my skinny to win this one in double digits.
