Anyone who has visited the store between October 22 and 28 is urged to follow the guidelines set by Alberta Health Services.
The Backstreet West restaurant said on social media that an employee had tested positive for COVID-19.
The employee’s last shift was on the evening of October 28, 2020. For this reason, the company says it has temporarily closed its doors.
“This is not a mandatory shutdown of the AHS,” the notice read.
“It’s a preventative measure to protect our customers and our employees.”
Backstreet went on to say that their top priority was the safety and well-being of its staff and customers.
“To ensure the safety of our community, we will reopen our doors when we are satisfied that there is no risk of transmission.”
Anyone with concerns are asked to contact the company by email at [email protected]
