Club Premium Members and Gold Membership holders were able to purchase up to four tickets each on a “first come, first served” basis starting at 9 am on Saturday morning.
The club defended the decision to distribute tickets as a priority sale, saying: “The various restrictions and guidelines for UEFA matches, coupled with the short timeframe for providing and receiving information from our supporters, would have ultimately created too many complications and risk. confusion and disappointment for the supporters. ”
However, many of the club’s 45,000 season pass holders were unable to obtain one.
Arsenal plan to hold a ticketing ballot for the Premier League game against Burnley on December 13.
The club said it was a huge challenge to organize short-term ticket sales and hope fans understand.

Premier League clubs Liverpool and London will be able to welcome some supporters back to their stadiums after the government announced where different parts of the country would be after the second lockdown ends.
However, a number of other clubs in the division, including Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Leeds, Leicester and Wolves, will not be able to welcome fans back to the stadiums following the announcement.
