Another case of COVID-19 at Kitchener school

Waterloo Region Public Health has confirmed that a staff member at Eastwood Collegiate Institute in Kitchener has contracted the virus

A case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Eastwood Collegiate Institute in Kitchener.
Waterloo Region Public Health said it was a staff member, who was last in the building on November 24.

All high risk contacts have been informed and asked to self-isolate. High-risk contacts included some staff and a cohort of students.

This is the second case in Eastwood, after a student case was confirmed on October 6.
