Andrea hosted Loose Women for 13 years and added that she spent 23 years on ITV during the day.
She explained that she wanted to help more women and that she was taking a risk with a new career path.
Andrea’s website explained that she intended to create a membership service where she could support women with their mental health and confidence.
Andrea had her co-hosts Linda Robson, Brenda Edwards and Saira Khan also in tears as she gave her moving speech.
The panel had discussed whether the pandemic had changed their perspective on life, and Andrea had really gotten it to her.
“You have a life, do you live it the way you want?” Do you do whatever you want? Are you brave? Are you taking risks?
“And I realized – no,” she said, bursting into tears. “Oh my God, I didn’t mean to cry, I’m so sorry. ”
“Oh no Andrea, I know what you’re going to say,” Linda said.
“I want to be brave, all of the amazing feedback I’ve had from my book and the support I’ve been able to give, I want to bring it to life.
“It was a really tough decision to jump to see if I fell or if I was flying, and I just knew I would never know if I had never tried.
“So I say goodbye to Loose Women. ”
Andrea said the Loose Women crew gave her fewer days on the show, but needed to step back to focus on her website – although she would stay on the show until Christmas and still appeared on television from time to time.
“I want to put myself out there, see what the universe has in store to help as many women as possible, in any way that means, but for now it’s with my website, all the love and the effort I put into it. , that will be my goal. ”
A statement on Andrea’s website explains, “I want to create a membership where we can grow together throughout the year, working with mentors and experts who:
“Keep you from feeling stuck, FEAR, like you just exist, with low self-confidence and low self-esteem (these are all words you used to describe me). ”
“Feeling like yourself again, ready to try something new, EXCITED, determined to believe that you can make positive changes in your life, charged and ready to choose a life you love – by opening your mind and your world has new opportunities. ”
