Zende and Nicole’s wedding ‘hiccups’ take him back to Los Angeles

Rome Flynn’s iteration of the character and how he left the show

The character is a member of the Forrester family, one of the two important families in the series. Specifically, Zende is the son of Kristen Forrester Dominguez, one of the daughters of Eric Forrester and Stephanie Forrester.

Zende was first introduced in 2001 when Kristen and her husband Antonio Dominguez were in Africa on their honeymoon. He lived in an orphanage after his parents died of AIDS. Back in Los Angeles, they kept thinking about Zende. Antonio struggled with AIDS himself and therefore connected with him on a deeper level. The couple returned to adopt him. They eventually left Los Angeles and moved to Florida.

When the character was brought back in 2015, he returned to work at Forrester Creations and had a relationship with Nicole Avant. The two eventually got married and moved to Europe.

Daniel Smith portrayed a young Zende when he first appeared on the show from 2001 to 2002. After that he appeared again in 2005. When the character quickly aged and returned to the show’s web as an adult , Rome Flynn made her debut in the role in 2015. Flynn left the show in 2017 and went into prime time.

Delon from Metz teases what to expect

The actor is set to debut in the role on October 7. In an interview with Soaps in Depth, he called his hearing a “crazy ride”. He reveals that the audition took place on Zoom.

“It was my first time doing a Zoom audition,” he told the publication. “In the first round, I had to do a tape. None of my friends were available and everyone was locked out. I ended up with a sort of wacky setup. I took a tripod, put my cell phone on the tripod and recorded myself while facing an actress I worked with on another CBS show called zoo. She auditioned with me on my laptop while I filmed her on my phone!

He sent that audition and then got a callback that was also on Zoom. The encore was taped, and then there was a third round which included a chemistry reading with Kiara Barnes, who plays Zoe Buckingham. de Metz says that chemistry read “sealed the deal.” ”

While Barnes played a big role in his transition to the series, de Metz says co-star Tanner Novlan helped him even before getting on set.

“I’ve known him in Los Angeles over the years,” he says. “I jumped on the phone with him before I started and he said, ‘Dude, whatever you’ve been told, you don’t know what to expect when you’re around. It is really very fast. And he was definitely right. I think everyone has probably underestimated the speed of the pace!

Zende and Nicole are they finished?

Before starting to film scenes, de Metz made sure to prepare the role well. This involved doing a lot of research and familiarizing yourself with Flynn’s work in the role.

“I did all the Wikipedia research on the character and spoke to [producer] Ed Scott on his backstory and we’ve gone pretty far, ”he says. “Then I watched a bunch of Rome work when he was playing the character to get a feel for the tone and where he was and where he could go. And then I was like, okay, now it’s time for me to get into this.

However, the biggest thing fans are wondering is what brings Zende back to LA, and if that means he and Nicole aren’t together anymore. de Metz confirmed that “something” happened.

“There was a hiccup as you might suppose with his marriage to Nicole,” he said. “And that motivates him to come back to Los Angeles and reintegrate into Forrester’s US operations. I don’t know where it’s going to go. “I really don’t!”

Love glory and beauty airs weekdays on CBS.
