WWE announces Adam Cole and Velveteen Dream injured after NXT 31 buyout


WWE reports a few victims of NXT Takeover 31 namely Adam Cole and Velveteen Dream. The company announced Tuesday that Cole and Dream were injured during the show; Cole at the hands of Ridge Holland, who carried the Undisputed Era member into the ring after the match, and Dream by Kushida’s attack after their match.You can see the announcement below, which promises updates on tomorrow’s NXT:

Both Adam Cole and Velveteen Dream are listed as injured as a result of the events of NXT TakeOver 31, WWE.com has learned.

Cole suffered from broken ribs and bruises due to an apparent attack suffered by powerful newcomer Ridge Holland. Holland dropped Cole’s limp body at ringside after the conclusion of the NXT Championship main event between Finn Bálor and Kyle O’Reilly, prompting his fellow undisputed ERA members to immediately call a doctor .

Velveteen Dream, meanwhile, suffered a broken wrist after facing Kushida at TakeOver 31. Kushida forced Dream to submit to the Hoverboard Lock, then continued the assault after the bell, arching Dream until the officials intervene. Despite the injury, Dream is medically cleared as tolerated.
