While fans are thrilled to meet the many potential suitors for lead female Clare Crawley, everyone has their eye on a man, Dale Moss.
Crawley and Moss are said to have started talking in the months following the announcement of the casting of Season 16 before filming began. After meeting in person, they quickly fell in love with each other and left the show to be together, according to reports. Although sources differ as to whether this was Crawley’s choice or the production, the 39-year-old is allegedly replaced by Tayshia Adams.
The promotions for the show seem to confirm this theory.
“Hi, come on,” an enamored Crawley says to Moss as he exits the limo in a new teaser video.
“Clare, my name is Dale and I couldn’t be more excited to be taking this trip with you,” he told her.
“I feel like meeting my husband,” she says when he walks away. ” Oh my God. ”
Crawley would have given Moss his first impression of pink, according to Reality blogger Steve.
But other competitors are not so sure. “It’s a matter of time before Clare realizes that Dale isn’t who she thinks he is,” a male voiceover says on the clip, as the video of the couple in bed together plays.
Moss is a 32-year-old who spent four years in the NFL as a wide receiver. The offensive player has been with the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears, according to his website.
In addition to sports, Moss works as a model for brands such as Under Armor and Hugo Boss. He volunteers for the Tiger Woods Foundation, Wounded Warriors and works as a Global Ambassador for Special Olympics.
The South Dakota resident also played basketball while attending Division 1 college. After his NFL fight, he moved to New York City to work in consulting for sports and wellness brands.
“Dale is looking for a woman who wants him but doesn’t need him and says nothing turns him on more than an independent woman with strong convictions,” reads her official biography on ABC. “When Dale feels passionate he doesn’t like to hold back and looks for a woman who won’t be put off by his intensity.
There’s a little red flag: his biography says he hasn’t mastered patience yet.
“It’s safe to say that Dale is leaving his mark very early this season,” said Chris Harrison, during an online showcase of the season’s cast. “It’s safe to say that I’ve never seen anyone leave a greater impression. Stay tuned. ”
Like most “Bachelorette” contestants, Moss’s Instagram is filled with shirtless photos of himself. New Yorker at heart, he recently showed his support for the Yankees. He often shares photos of himself in the gym, walking the streets of New York City and doing sponsored content.
