They cited “ending the Covid-19 pandemic” as one of President Trump’s main accomplishments since taking office in 2016 in a new report.

But officials of the White House coronavirus task force would be upset by the claim – with one telling the Daily Beast it was “mind-boggling.”
There is no world in which anyone can think that [statement] is true, ”they added.
“Maybe the president. But I don’t see how he can believe it.
“We have over 70,000 new cases every day. ”
During his recent rallies, the president has described the Covid-19 crisis as a “media conspiracy” – claiming that the television news exaggerated the risks of the virus in order to dissuade people from voting.
The pandemic that has changed lives across the United States this year, killing more than 227,000 people, rages in the days leading up to Tuesday’s fight between Republican Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden.
Biden occupies a comfortable lead in national polls, which show an audience increasingly dismayed by Trump’s handling of the biggest public health crisis in living memory in the United States. The polls in the battlefield states that will likely decide the election are tighter than the national polls.
At an outdoor rally in Goodyear, Ariz. Outside of Phoenix, Trump continued to oppose tougher action against the resurgent virus.
