Reshmi Bennett, professional chef and baker, runs the Sugar Angels in London. The boutique, known for its sweets like pies, pastries and wedding cakes, posted the snarky snub on its corporate blog, calling on social media influencers to stop fishing for freebies.
“We get hundreds of requests for cake in exchange for exposure. I would like to “thank you for contacting” but I will not, as I am not grateful for your “opportunity” to work for free. And it also clogs my DMs and my inbox, ”Bennett wrote in the post.

The pastry guru continues to defend his “edible works of art” by saying that his labor of love is actually expensive to produce.
