Two more Tennessee Titans players test positive for COVID-19


Two other Tennessee Titans players have tested positive for COVID-19, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.Four players (starting tackle DaQuan Jones, linebacker Kamalei Correa, long snapper Beau Brinkley and training squad tight end Tommy Hudson) and five squad staff tested positive earlier this week. On Thursday, the NFL announced that an additional Titans player and staff member tested positive for the coronavirus.

The Titans placed cornerback Kristian Fulton on the reserve / COVID-19 list on Thursday.

Officials from the NFL and the National Football League Players Association are in Nashville to check for the spread of the virus within the team, a source told ESPN and first reported by the NFL Network.

Head coach Mike Vrabel said on Wednesday some of the players who tested positive were showing flu-like symptoms.

On Thursday, the NFL announced that the Titans’ game with the Pittsburgh Steelers would not be played for Week 4 after additional positive coronavirus tests on the Tennessee team.
