Trump’s top adviser Stephen Miller tests positive for coronavirus

White House official Stephen Miller, senior political adviser to Donald Trump, has tested positive for the coronavirus, joining a list of several administration officials to be infected.

” In the last [five] days I worked remotely and self-isolating, testing negative every day until yesterday, ”he said in a statement Tuesday. “Today, I tested positive for Covid-19 and I am in quarantine.”

The president returned to the White House on Monday after a hospital stay following his diagnosis of coronavirus. First Lady Melania Trump has also tested positive for Covid-19.

Positive cases within the administration and the president’s inner circle, which rocked the White House and the president’s re-election campaign weeks after polling day, now include the president’s press secretary, four of his assistants, its campaign manager, GOP president, two senior advisers and former advisor Kellyanne Conway.
