Tottenham XI vs LASK: Bale and Vinicius start – Latest squad news and Europa League roster tonight

Gareth Bale and Vinicius both depart for Tottenham in tonight’s Europa League group stage opener against LASK.

Summer signings Bale and Vinicius start in attack with Lucas Moura. Erik Lamela is also returning, while Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Heung-min Son are all on the bench.

Eric Dier is out after sitting down in training on Wednesday morning. Dier was absent for the 3-3 draw with West Ham on Sunday due to a hamstring problem suffered in England and he is still not fit enough to return, leaving Jose Mourinho short of a center-back.

Japhet Tanganga (thigh) is also sidelined and new signing Joe Rodon is not eligible for the Europa League.

In a boost to the Spurs manager, Giovani Lo Celso is back from injury and is on the bench.

Tottenham XI: Hart, Doherty, Sanchez, Davies (C), Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Winks, Lamela, Bale, Lucas, Vinicius

Submarines: Lloris, Austin, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sissoko, Ndombele, Clarke, Lo Celso, Dele, Bergwijn, Son, Kane
