PARIS (Reuters) – Citizens of nine French cities where a nighttime curfew will be imposed from midnight Friday will be able to leave their homes during this period for work or pre-booked travel provided they present the relevant documents, the First Minister Jean Castex said Friday.

At a press conference, he also said food deliveries to restaurants would be allowed during the curfew, which will affect around 20 million people and is expected to last at least four weeks.
