Netflix has released a complete new trailer for Season 4 of its award-winning series “The Crown”.
The teaser gives fans a glimpse of Gillian Anderson as Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher versus Olivia Colman’s Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen’s husband Prince Philip, played by Tobias Menzies, can be heard saying: ‘Two women are running the show – this is the last thing this country needs’, referring to two women in positions of power United Kingdom.
“This may be exactly what this country needs,” replied the Queen.

Fans also get a deeper look at the Queen’s tumultuous relationship with her son Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor) and his wife Princess Diana (Emma Corrin).
“All I want is to be loved. That’s everything each of us expects from you, ”Diana told the Queen.

Season 4 takes place in the late 1970s as tensions arise between Thatcher and the Queen over the Prime Minister’s decision to lead the country into the Falklands War.

Meanwhile, Charles – who is 30 years old and still single – meets the young Lady Diana who “provides an indispensable fairy tale to unite the British people, behind closed doors, the royal family is increasingly divided”, describes a Press release.
Season 4 of “The Crown” premieres on Netflix on Sunday, November 15th.
