T-Mobile announces TVision live TV service starting at $ 10 / month, Apple TV + and Apple TV 4K promotions


T-Mobile announced today that it will be the latest company to enter the live TV business. The company unveiled TVision, a new premium streaming TV service designed to compete with YouTube TV and AT&T TV. It will launch on November 1, with prices starting at $ 10 per month.The centerpiece of the T-Mobile network is TVision Live, which costs $ 40 per month and has a range of channels including ABC, NBC, and Fox, as well as others like TBS, TNT, Bravo, and more. You can upgrade to TVision Live TV + for $ 50 per month and add sports channels or TVision Live Zone, which adds NFL RedZone among other things.

Other details of TVision Live:

  • Cloud DVR included with all three levels, up to 100 hours
  • Three simultaneous streams
  • Optional TVision HUB available – An Android powered HDMI device that connects to your home Wi-Fi network and plugs directly into your TV

In addition to TVision Live, however, there’s the $ 10-per-month TVision Vibe. This service offers 30 live channels from AMC, Discovery and Viacom. The limitation here is that accessing the cloud DVR will cost an additional $ 5 per month if you want to add it.

Finally, T-Mobile is also in direct competition with Apple TV Channels with its new TVision Channels platform. Here you can purchase standalone subscriptions to Epix ($ 5.99 per month), Starz ($ 8.99 per month), and Showtime ($ 10.99 per month).

TVision will be available on iPhone, iPad, Android, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Google TV, and Android TV. Notably, T-Mobile is offering a free year of Apple TV + to customers who sign up for TVision Live TV + or Live Zone before December 31. You can also optionally add an Apple TV 4K to your account for $ 99 after rebate.

Customers who sign up for TVision Live TV + or Live Zone plans before December 31 will get Apple TV + for one year, PLUS the option to add Apple TV 4K for just $ 99 – a savings of $ 80 after rebate .
