President Trump tweeted a video earlier on Sunday, saying he “received excellent reports from doctors.” He then waved to supporters outside the hospital on a brief outing in a procession with the Secret Service.
In response to a tweet asking why Trump, while sick with COVID-19, would be leaving the hospital, Kai Ryssdal of Marketplace tweeted: “Because futures start trading at 6 p.m. PT. East Coast. “

The market has been increasingly volatile in recent months amid election talks, debate on Capitol Hill over an upcoming COVID-19 stimulus package and a pandemic that shows no signs of abating.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened on Friday, following Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis, with a loss of about 400 points, down 1.4%. The S&P 500 index fell 1.6% and the Nasdaq composite fell 2%.
