These shocking images reveal a remarkable transformation after six people spent 50 hours cleaning a dirty house that had not been cleaned in years.
The two bedroom property was covered in dirt as the owner, a widower in his 80s, has been living alone for years.
However, a team of six cleaners worked tirelessly to clean the layers of mold and trash piles from the dirty semi-detached property in Dalton, Cumbria.

And as the previous photos show the house covered in thick layers of dirt and mold, the amazing images afterwards show every surface sparkling clean.
The work was done Emma-lea Dalton and her team of cleaners at My Kind of Clean.
They put on protective suits and masks before entering the house and began by cleaning up all the trash – which filled two large dumpsters.
The next step in the process, Emma-lea said, was to clean up the grime and, after a few hours, return the property to its former glory.

The 29-year-old added: “As a cleaning company we see a variety of different situations, but it’s definitely to the extreme.
“This is definitely one of the worst situations I have encountered.
“My cleaners are all very professional, they rolled up their sleeves and got the job done. “
My Kind of Clean paid a visit to the house before coming back to clean it up, so they could come up with a “meticulous” plan, Emma-lea said.
She added, “The owner had collected a lot of stuff over the years, most of which was rubbish that we could throw away.
“The kitchen was in poor condition and the bathroom needed plumbing, but due to the conditions no one was there.

“I think the place had degenerated for a few years after the death of the owner’s wife.
“It’s very sad to have come to this point, but luckily the man’s friends contacted us and asked for help, otherwise he would still live in such conditions. “
One of the man’s friends was reportedly “speechless” when they saw the transformation and the owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was also “very happy,” Emma-lea said.
She added that her team was very emotional at the end of the cleanup, which was about eight hours of work for six people.

Emma-lea said: “It is very gratifying to see the difference we have made, not only in a home, but also in someone’s life.
“Jobs like this aren’t just about cleaning.
“I hope others will see that this kind of situation is okay and that there are ways out, they just need to ask. “
