Rufus Hound announced that he separated from his wife Beth Johnson during the lockdown in April.
The comedian, 41, took to Twitter on Friday to share a poignant post that saw him claim that they “will always remain best friends” despite departing.
Rufus, who reportedly joined Dancing On Ice, said in a statement: “In April, Beth and I made the sad decision to end our marriage.

The couple share two children Alby and Hilda together, and he concluded by saying “As always, our family will remain our number one priority. “
Rufus and Beth met at the Reading Festival in 2006, and the couple married at the Little Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, a year later.

It was claimed earlier this month that Rufus had signed up for Dancing On Ice, which is set to return in 2021.
The Sun reported that Rufus and Lady Leshurr were on the show’s bosses priority list, as a source speaking to the publication said they were “excited” to sign the stars.
They said, “Dancing On Ice puts on one of their most eclectic lineups of all time and the bosses are thrilled to have Rufus and Lady Leshurr on board.
“None of them will play it safe – on the show or on the ice. The next series certainly won’t be light on entertainment.

Dancing On Ice isn’t the first reality show Rufus has been linked to, as he previously won the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special in 2013.
Rufus was a regular Celebrity Juice panelist and has also appeared on shows such as Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
He’s also made his name in a number of theatrical productions, including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Boy In The Dress and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
