Bottom Line: Nico Rosberg says he’s excited to renew his rivalry with Lewis Hamilton – this time for a good cause, as they bring attention to environmental issues.
What they say
Nico Rosberg, who announced the launch of his Rosberg Xtreme Racing Extreme E team last week, said he was eager to “renew” his rivalry with Hamilton in Formula 1, this time as team managers in the off-road electric championship, hoping that interest in their competition will inspire more awareness of climate change:
I’m so happy Lewis is joining us as well because we have this gift of having a huge awareness there and a huge following, because of what we’ve accomplished in the past and joining forces in this area, to really raise awareness about climate change and the damage it is already causing in the regions where we are going to run, will be extremely powerful.
I hope to inspire many people to contribute and do their part in our fight against climate change. At the same time, however, to combine that with renewing our battle on the right track – in a little different position now as CEOs or founders is great.

FIA Karting interview with Felipe Massa (FIA)
“What happened at Lonato was serious. A world championship should give karting a positive image. This kind of event is against the spirit of our sport. It is not an example for young people. I immediately wanted the FIA to communicate on this subject. be the subject of and investigate these incidents. In Italy, ACI Sport has already taken the first sanctions. The CIK-FIA will also be sensitive to these facts. In the end, I think it’s important to congratulate the Drivers who were crowned in Italy in 2020 and to remember their names: the French Jérémy Iglesias (KZ), the Italian Simone Cunati (KZ2) and the American Connor Zilisch (Academy), without forgetting the Israeli Ariel Elkin, winner of the last round of the Academy Trophy. ”

This includes being disinterested in teammates, especially with Scott Dixon who won the INDYCAR Championship. He is a fundamental part of our overall program and he fits well into our group. That translates to success on the track, and we’re happy that he continues to grow and move the team forward into the future. “”

Racing Academy: How to learn a track (Venturi Formula E)
“You can spend all the time you want on a track on foot, but for me when I’m driving it’s easier to understand the track and more natural. Regardless of our limited practice time, learning and preparation is still possible and we still gain a wealth of knowledge for the future. “Surprisingly, you can learn a lot from the practice even though it’s so short,” Edo added. “You can know the level of grip and if your strategy was well prepared.” ”
Rene Rast in Berlin, adjusting to Formula E and racing in the Audi Sport (Formula E) team
“The biggest difference between what I’m used to and the Gen2 was the power and the way it was delivered, and the vision with Halo on the Formula E car and the covers on the wheels,” Rast continued. “It changes your appearance in the corners because the apex is blocked – it’s not easy. ”
