Police search denton Buc-ee for assault suspect

Police are investigating an assault reported at Denton Buc-ee on Saturday.

Police began investigating just before 12:45 p.m., when Denton PD officers were called to a local hospital.

The victim said he was assaulted by a stranger at Buc-ee’s.

Officers spoke to the victim, who said he and a friend had an argument after seeing supporters of President Donald Trump at the convenience store.

During the argument, a man hit the victim, who suffered a cut under the right eyebrow and a broken tooth.

The suspect was last seen in a dark colored Dodge Ram.

Denton Police Chief Frank Dixon tweeted photos of the suspect, and added that it is not yet known whether the suspect is from Denton because it was “one of the many hangouts in the DFW region ”.

The meetings Dixon talks about are believed to be aimed at Trump supporters.
