The outspoken Good Morning Britain Host has targeted both Mr Trump and Mr Biden while calling the debate “the most embarrassing and uninspiring spectacle in the history of modern American politics.” Mr Morgan echoed an opinion of many analysts; that the debate, held in the early hours of Wednesday morning at UK time, was chaotic.
He called Mr. Biden’s performance “weak and ineffective,” accusing him of “mumbling inconsistently” at certain points in the 90-minute show.
He also criticized the president for interrupting his opponent too often.
He said: “Trump looked like a drunk heckler in a comedy club who keeps hammering for deeds thinking everyone is cheering him on – when in fact they just want the annoying villain to be rejected .
“In the worst of many horrific moments, he refused to condemn white supremacists, and when specifically challenged about the Proud Boys, a transphobic misogynist and transphobic homophobic racist misogynist, he replied, ‘Proud Boys, take a step back and stay away! ‘ ”

At the same time, he praised the Democrat for resisting “extraordinary pressure” from Mr. Trump throughout the night.
Mr Farage also criticized Mr Trump for interrupting Mr Biden “way too much”, while saying he was “superb” in other aspects.
Social media users are also expressing their dissatisfaction with the presidential debate.
Political author Julian Zelizer said, “For the very first time America is asking for a commercial break.”
One user said: “This debate is already derailed. And Joe and Chris will have a hard time passing points. ”
Another said: “As a Canadian watching this presidential debate, I have to say it was the worst shit show ever to air in the world.
Yesterday’s debate was the first of three. Two more are scheduled this month before American citizens go to the polls and vote for the next president of the United States.
The next debate is scheduled to take place on October 15 in Miami, Florida. It will be followed by another on October 22 in Nashville, Tennessee.
There will also be a debate between current Vice President Mike Pence and Joe Biden Vice President hopeful Kamala Harris on October 7.
