It looks like Joe Rogan is being canceled over the internet again.

Last month, Rogan came under heavy criticism for reserving controversial writer Abigail Shrier, leading angry Spotify employees to threaten to strike unless they gain editorial control over the JRE podcast.

During the episode, Shrier questioned vividly whether extremely young women should undergo operations, treatments, and gender transition therapy, while also questioning whether many of these women are genuinely trans or are just looking to be accepted and validated. This drew accusations of transphobia from a contingent of LGTBQ + Spotify employees, who allegedly demanded changes in more than ten separate meetings with Spotify senior management.

Spotify employees were demanding direct editorial supervision on the recently acquired Joe Rogan Experience podcast, ”Digital Music News reported. “This would include the ability to directly edit or delete sections of upcoming interviews, or to block downloads of episodes deemed problematic. Employees also demanded the ability to add trigger warnings, corrections, and references to verified articles on topics Rogan covered during his hour-long discussions.

On Tuesday, a week before the presidential election, Rogan had controversial Infowars founder and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on the podcast, and they touched on hot topics such as Hunter Biden’s laptop and the theory of the Bill Gates vaccine plot.

People weren’t happy that Rogan gave Jones a platform to discuss his conspiracy theories and started canceling their Spotify accounts as a result.
