New COVID-19 case reported in Gray-Bruce on Saturday

A single new case of COVID-19 was reported to the Gray Bruce Health Unit on Saturday, according to the organization’s daily situation report.

The case, involving a person from Owen Sound, brings the number of active cases of the novel coronavirus in the two counties to six.

So far, 153 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Gray-Bruce. Eight of these cases were referred to other health services, while 139 have recovered.

There is currently no one hospitalized in the region with a confirmed case of COVID-19 and no facility is in an epidemic state.

No one has died from the virus in Gray-Bruce to date.
