The 31-year-old has four seasons with the San Jose Sharks on his resume – he posted a combined save percentage of .908 during that span, as well as a 2.76 goals-against average and five shutouts. In 2019-20, the Airdrie, Alta. Native has won 12 of his 30 starts and recorded a .907 save percentage.
Dell’s best season came in his first foray into the big league, in which he recorded a .931 save percentage in 20 appearances for San Jose, followed by a .914 in his second season.
Prior to the start of his professional career, Dell played in AHL for three different clubs, in ECHL for two different clubs, and in the Central Hockey League after his three years at the University of North Dakota.
He won three WCHA Championships with North Dakota and was named MVP of the tournament for the third, before winning the Central Hockey League Championship (and Most Outstanding Goalie Honors) before to move on to his mandate at ECHL.
