Lori Loughlinhas started her rough 2 month period, and while the place she’s incarcerated is definitely not the Ritz-Carlton… it doesn’t sound TOO terrible. As we reported… Aunt Becky went on Friday to start serving her sentence at FCI Dublin in California – a low security prison – and we got her handbook outlining what she will look like every day. First of all, it’s still prison – there is therefore a very strict schedule for wake-up time (5 a.m.), quiet hours (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.), and detainees must be in their cells for the daily counts at 4.30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. According to the manual… Lori has to make her bed every day and can be penalized if she doesn’t keep her cell in order, and the same goes if she sleeps late or misses mealtime. She will only wear government attire – no personal clothing – and will be required to maintain a regular work assignment… which could include clerical work, cooking, baking, food preparation, washing up or general cleaning.
OK, so what about the good stuff? Well, Lori and her fellow inmates can listen to music on an approved radio or mp3 player – as long as it’s not working hours – and there is a TV… but no one is allowed to change channels. . The real benefits seem to lie in the leisure activities and programs offered by FCI Dublin… including craft classes, wellness classes, structured exercises, sports leagues and holiday events. Prize bags, treats and certificates are even awarded for participating in health education and exercise… and the sporting possibilities are endless. For example, Lori can get involved in basketball, volleyball, track, softball and tennis in the prison’s outdoor facilities… or participate in an indoor bingo or ping-pong tournament. . Or, she can just practice. However, she decides to pass the time, she still has 2 years of supervised release after serving her prison sentence.
