On Tuesday, workers moved their picket line to Loblaw’s distribution facility in Donovans, preventing trucks from entering or exiting. They installed a temporary fence, which Unifor said is to keep workers safe.
As Loblaw seeks legal intervention, the union intends to rise to the challenge by organizing a rally calling on the company to resume negotiations.
Unifor President Jerry Dias says Loblaw is using its resources and time in court instead of listening to the concerns of its workers.
